COVID-19 UPDATE: Three new cases, 41 in isolation

Three new positive COVID-19 cases (one male and two females) were reported by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Friday, May 28, out of the 729 tests conducted.

The number of persons in isolation is now 41.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases since March 2020 have reached 4,012 (1,939 females and 2,073 males) and there have been 47 deaths.

The public health laboratory has carried out 169,633 tests since February 2020.

The number of people who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is 60, 139. They are among 77,823 persons who have been immunised under the National Vaccination Programme. (BGIS)
