Weather Update: Tropical storm watch upgraded to Tropical Storm Warning

At 11.00 PM TONIGHT Wednesday 30th June 2021, Potential Tropical Cyclone #5 has been upgraded to Tropical Depression #5 located near latitude 9.6N longitude 46.3W or about 930 MI (1495 KM) east of Barbados.

Recent satellite data has indicated that the
center is further west than previously initialized and that a closed circulation has formed at the surface.

As a result, the tropical storm watch has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm Warning for Barbados. (BMS)
