Damaged utility pole in Spooners Hill area

The Royal Barbados Police Force is advising the public to avoid Spooners Hill, St Michael.

A damaged utility pole is hanging precariously in the area of Spooners Hill, going towards the traffic lights at Codrington, the police said in a statement.

Drivers and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area, where possible.

Police said Barbados Light & Power Company has dispatched a crew to the area.

Police officers are regulating the traffic flow.
