COVID-19 UPDATE: 11 new positive cases, 123 in isolation

Three males and eight females were identified as COVID-19 positive by the Bestdos Santos Public Health Laboratory. A total of 1,213 tests were carried out on Thursday, July 15.
There are currently 123 people in isolation.
Since March last year, Barbados has recorded 4,241 confirmed COVID-19 cases (2,056 females and 2,185 males), and 48 people have died from the viral illness.
The public health laboratory has conducted 199,296 tests since February 2020.
As part of the National Vaccination Programme, 97,243 first doses of the COVID19 vaccines have been administered. The number of people who have received second doses and are fully vaccinated is 73,006. This figure represents 26.9 per cent of the
