Red Cross receives aid for families

RBC Royal Bank, RBC Dominion Securities and RBC Capital Markets (“RBC”)  announced a donation of BDS$106,000 to the Barbados Red Cross Society.

RBC’s donation will be used by the Red Cross Society to help distribute food hampers and other goods to persons who have been displaced by Hurricane Elsa.

“All of us know how much of an impact hurricanes can have on our community,” said Robert de Silva, Managing Director for RBC in Barbados. Hurricane Elsa damaged homes and displaced many of our neighbours.”

We are hopeful that this donation to the Red Cross will help bring those affected some much-needed support during this difficult time.

We as an organisation are proud to help the communities we serve and we will continue to support Barbadians through this recovery and rebuilding stage.” (PR)
