UPDATE: Work on 18-inch main at St Stephen’s facility completed

The Barbados Water Authority wishes to update the public today Saturday, July 24, that the connection of an 18-inch main to its distribution network at St Stephen’s, Black Rock was completed yesterday Friday as planned.

As a result of yesterday’s work however, one of the Authority’s facilities in St Michael continues to be impacted by low reservoir levels today Saturday.

Customers in some St Michael, St James and St Thomas districts may still be suffering low pressure or water outages.

The BWA regrets the delay in the restoration of full service to these areas but reminds that it will take some time for normal supply to return to all affected districts.

Barbados Water Authority tanker crews will assist these customers in the interim. The Authority apologises for any inconvenience these service disruptions have caused.
