It has landed on top of the repair job that the government had started with the economy. Yet, I am hearing complaints about performance. From my vantage point the government has been doing a very good job in trying to keep Barbados afloat where the tourism sector has taken a massive hit, while managing the pandemic and trying to maintain our social services at a high level. I am not a political person but I and my wife and grown sons feel a lot more secure with this administration in charge at this time, than if the previous Stuart government was still in power. I moved back to Barbados in 2012 and must say I prefer the leadership I see now than what I endured from 2012 to 2018. We will get through this with God’s grace and unity.
