COVID-19 UPDATE: 6 new cases, 153 in isolation

Six males were identified as COVID-19 positive by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The number of tests carried out on Monday, July 26 is 1,141.
There are currently 153 people in isolation.
Barbados has recorded 4,359 confirmed COVID-19 cases (2,116 females and 2,243 males) since the pandemic began in March 2020. Forty-eight people have succumbed to the virus.
Tests conducted by the public health laboratory since February last year, have reached 212,640.
Health officials have administered 99,154 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccines, and 74,504 people or 27.5 per cent of the population, have received second doses and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)
