Lawyer in custody

 

Attorney-at-law George Bennett is in police custody in connection with the discovery of a large quantity of marijuana allegedly found at a residence.

 

Bennett, a former police inspector in charge of the Drug Squad, is also a former president of the Barbados Hockey Association.

 

Charges are expected to be officially brought soon. (BT)
