BPS terminates international postal money order service with US

The public is advised that effective Friday, October 1, the reciprocal International Postal Money Order service between the United States Postal Service (USPS) and the Barbados Postal Service (BPS) will end.

All International Postal Money Orders issued up to Thursday, September 30, by the USPS will be valid for one year thereafter, and will become null and void after that date.

During this period, all International Postal Money Orders held by customers can be cashed at any post office throughout the island.

The Postmaster General apologises for any inconvenience caused by the termination of this service.
