Former employees of statutory corporations urged to contact NIO

The National Insurance Office (NIO) is appealing to former employees of statutory corporations, who have paid contributions at the rate which provides coverage for unemployment and sickness benefits and whose claims have not been honoured, to contact its office. It may be reached at 467-4647, or by emailing statutoryemployees.queries@bginis.gov.bb. 

To facilitate a review, former employees should provide the following information: name, NIS number, period of claim, type of claim and contact details.
