Road Closure: KNR Highway bridge reconstruction

The Barbados Tourism Investment Inc. (BTI) wishes to remind the public of the continuation of the Salt Pond Flood Mitigation Project. The project, now in its 2^nd Phase will require the closure of the bridge on the KNR Highway in Speightstown.

These changes are scheduled from Monday, 20^th September, 2021 until Monday, 24^th January 2022 should weather permit and not cause disruptions to workflow. As a result of these works, there may be extended transit times for motorists using this route. Where possible, alternative routes should be utilized to avoid congestion.
