Fifty-five-year-old woman succumbs to COVID-19

The number of lives lost to COVID-19 in Barbados now stands at 64.
The latest casualty is a 55-year-old Guyanese woman, who resided on the island.  She died on Thursday, September 23, in the primary isolation section at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, where she spent 22 days.  She was unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, extends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. (BGIS)
