St James woman dies suddenly at bus stop

A 65-year-old woman collapsed and died at a bus stop located opposite Trents Playing Field, St James this morning. According to police, she has been identified as Pamela Medford of Fitts Village, by family members.

Lawmen said Medford complained of feeling unwell while at the bus stop and later collapsed around 7:30. Police spokesman acting Inspector Rodney Inniss said, “Those individuals who witnessed the incident summoned the ambulance who responded and on arrival [the personnel] found no sign of life. Police were then summoned.”
