Vaccination pop-up site schedule for today

The Immunisation Unit advises that the vaccination pop-up site which was scheduled to be at Jubilee Gardens, Bridgetown, St. Michael, today, Saturday, October 9, will no longer operate, due to unforseen circumstances.

Persons who intended to visit that site may go to the nearby community engagement site at National Heroes Square, The City, between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

All other vaccination sites and centres will operate as scheduled.
These are:

• Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Eunice Gibson Polyclinic – 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Sandals Resort Conference Centre, Maxwell, Christ Church – 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• St. Clements Church Hall, Free Hill, St. Lucy – 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Sheraton Centre, Vauxhall, Christ Church – 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• ShopSmart, Holder’s Hill, St. James – 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Barbados Co-operative and Credit Union Limited, Collymore Rock, St. Michael – 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All three vaccines – AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Sinopharm – will be available at all of the listed sites.

Students 12 to 18 years may visit any centre or pop-up clinic to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Persons who wish to receive their first dose are advised to walk with their national identification cards.

Those eligible for second doses should also travel with their blue vaccination cards.
