COVID-19 claims the lives of two more Barbadians

Two Barbadians died yesterday, bringing the total number of deaths for Wednesday, October 13, to five.
A 92-year-old woman died in the afternoon while in tertiary isolation at the Queen’s College facility, where she spent eight days.
She was fully vaccinated.
Additionally, a 56-year-old man succumbed to the virus in the evening after spending two days in primary isolation at the Harrison’s Point facility. He was unvaccinated.
The death toll from COVID-19 is 108.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
