No COVID-19 test required to return to work after isolation

The Ministry of Health and Wellness is advising business owners and managers that employees who had a positive COVID-19 test result, and were placed in isolation, do not need to take a test after they have been officially discharged from isolation.

Discharge from isolation is authorised by a medical doctor, who will issue an official certificate indicating that the person has recovered and is no longer a risk to other persons, including those at their place of work.

Therefore, after presenting their official discharge certificate, employees should not be asked to take a COVID-19 test to return to work.
