UPDATE: Victim of hanging identified

A body found hanging in Bridgetown this afternoon has been identified as that of 45-year-old Jagadesh Guli Mirchandani of #9 2nd Avenue, Valley View, Walkers, St George.

Mirchandani’s body was found on the third floor of the building housing Daily Depot on Tudor Street.

Police were called to the area around 4:30 for reports that a man was found hanging.

A medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced death.

Investigations are ongoing.
