CIT prepayment deadline approaching

The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) is reminding corporate taxpayers with a fiscal year end anytime between October 01 and December 31, that their prepayment obligation for Corporate Income Tax (CIT) is due on December 15, 2021.

The Authority encourages taxpayers to make their CIT payments online in TAMIS. Additionally, over-the-counter transactions can be conducted at the Authority’s offices in the Bridge Street Mall; Warrens Towers II; Holetown Public Complex and Southern Plaza Complex; Monday to Friday between 8:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Persons using the wire or bank transfer option should follow the transaction instructions on the Authority’s website. To ensure that these payments are accurately applied, taxpayers using this method should submit payment confirmation to epayments@bra.gov.bb along with TIN number, the tax year and payment amount.
