Spreading Christmas cheer

The frontline heroes of Harrison Point and other COVID-19 Isolation Facilities received a timely dose of Christmas cheer today, as Red Advertising “remember RED” them with a presentation of Christmas decorations and gifts.

Managing Director of Red, Jevan Jutagir, led a team to the Harrison Point Isolation Facility in St. Lucy, where he presented Manager of Isolation Facilities, Dr Corey Forde, with an assortment of Christmas goodies including a large tree, decorations, and a variety of gifts for children. This was all conducted within the necessary COVID-19 protocols.

Jutagir said while it was traditional for Red to annually show appreciation to clients in a unique and creative way, he felt this year it was more appropriate to encourage clients to join in recognizing the yeoman contributions of Dr Forde and his team at the Isolation Centres. He said the presentation was in recognition of their sacrificial efforts working to keep Barbadians safe.

“This, like last Christmas and the holiday season, has been adversely affected by COVID-19 and its variants.

Imagine how difficult it must be to be isolated and away from your family if infected, or having to work through the season to save lives.
“The staff at the isolation centres, as well as the patients, must not be forgotten this season, even as COVID-19 drags on and we suffer COVID fatigue,”

Jutagir remarked.

In addition to the presentation of gifts, Red is also facilitating further recognition for the frontline heroes by designing a special Christmas e-card which clients can sign, and an e-blast mailer linked to a website where clients and associates can add their own special messages of hope and appreciation.

Jutagir encouraged Red’s wide network of clients and associates to join in the recognition effort and especially thanked those partners who contributed to the presentation event.

“Red has brought our clients on board in helping us share cheer where it is most needed. We hope our Christmas decorations and gifts can lift spirits at these critical facilities and let everyone fighting this disease know that they are ‘RemembeRED’ this holiday. I would also like to thank our partners who came on board with this initiative, namely Do It Best, Kooyman and IGT,” said Jutagir. (PR)
