Trident insurance customers donate $40 000

Trident Insurance customers raised $40,000 from their policies as part of an initiative entitled Policies Empowering People which was launched in October 2021.

Four chosen charities were each presented with a donation by Patti Carter-Blackman, Marketing and Customer Service Manager, on Thursday, January 27 at Trident’s headquarters in Hastings, Christ Church.

The four charities listed were: The Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness; The Variety Club; The RSPCA; and Verdun House.

Clients of Trident Insurance were given the opportunity to donate a percentage of their new or renewed premium to any of the four charities and the response was excellent.

About the initiative, Chief Executive Officer of Trident Barbados, David Alleyne, said: “Trident’s desire to give back to the community in which it operates is fundamental to the company’s business ethos.”
