St Michael man to answer gun and ammunition charges

Allegations that he had three firearms and 78 rounds of ammunition have landed a 25-year-old man on remand at Dodds Prison.

Truck assistant Rhoje Asherdar Gittens, of White Hall No. 3, St Michael appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on Tuesday on the four charges.

He was not required to plead to the indictable charges which are said to have been committed on February 8.

Gittens, who was represented by attorneys-at-law Michael Lashley Q.C. and Sade Harris, will make his next appearance before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on March 8.
