Webinar on Employment Sexual Harassment (Prevention) Act

Public officers will soon get an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the Employment Sexual Harassment (Prevention) Act 2017.

The Learning and Development Directorate of the Ministry of the Public Service, in collaboration with the Labour Department, will host a webinar on Friday, February 25, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Public officers interested in attending the webinar should contact Jeanette King at  jeanette.king@mps.gov.bb or 535-6722, or visit the website of the Ministry of the Public Service.

Some of the areas to be discussed by the presenters are: Key Provisions of the Act; What Constitutes Sexual Harassment; Complaint Mechanisms, and Penalties and Compensation. Public officers are encouraged to be a part of the discussion. (BGIS)
