Safety Awareness Day on Saturday May 28

Members of the public are encouraged to come out and learn more about safety during an emergency, by attending the Safety and Emergency Day entitled: Did You Know? on Saturday, May 28, at the Deacons Hardcourt, Deacons, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

It is being hosted by the St. Michael North West District Emergency Organisation, in conjunction with the Department of Emergency Management.

Presentations will be made by experts from the Barbados Police Service, the Barbados Fire Service, the Sanitation Service Authority, the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the Barbados Water Authority and Co-operators General Insurance Company Limited.

In addition, persons may also have blood pressure and cholesterol checks. (BGIS)
