Man, 41, killed in traffic collision in Bakers Woods, St Peter

A 41-year-old man has died following a traffic collision in Bakers Wood, St Peter, Sunday night.

The victim has been identified as Trevor Antonio Ifill of Battaleys, St Peter.

Just after 9 p.m., emergency crews were called to a section of Highway 2A for a collision.

Police say the collision involved a car owned and driven by a 53-year-old man, and a motorcycle driven by Ifill.

According to police, the two vehicles were travelling along the roadway in opposite directions when they collided.

Ifill died at the scene.

This is the 7th road fatality resulting from six road traffic collisions since the beginning of the year.
