Issuing of isolation discharge certificates

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised managers of public and private business establishments that Medical Officers of Health and Clinical Medical Officers of polyclinics are also authorised to issue isolation discharge certificates.

Any discharge certificates provided by these medical professionals are therefore legitimate.

The Ministry acknowledges that situations may arise where persons do not receive their electronic certificates at the expected time because, in some cases, they have given inaccurate email addresses.

The Government Medical Officers are authorised to assist in special circumstances such as these, so as to facilitate persons returning to work. (MHW)
