SJPI fashion design students to showcase collection

Final year students in the Garment Technology Programme of the Division of Human Ecology of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology (SJPI) will host their end-of-year fashion show tomorrow, Friday, June 10, in the auditorium of the SJPI, Wildey, St. Michael.

The event, which starts at 1:30 p.m., will highlight the students’ two years of study at the SJPI. It will showcase their various collections ranging from casual wear and formal wear to men’s wear and an active wear collection.

Fashion industry expert, Rosca McDonald, who is also a master tailor and fashion designer, is expected to attend the show, which has as its theme:  A look in the closet: 2022.

Other industry partners as well as some secondary school students, parents and faculty members will be in attendance. (BGIS)
