USA celebrates

Last night was a grand occasion for the United States of America, her allies and friends. To mark the occasion of that country’s imminent 246th independence anniversary, a reception was held at the American Embassy Complex at Wildey, St Michael under the patronage of Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Linda Taglialatela.

Several members of the Barbados Government led by Acting Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw, as well as local and American diplomatic officials attended the function. America’s official Day of Independence is July 4.
