CAIPO experiencing technical difficulties; 2021 Annual Returns filing extended

The public is reminded that the internal system at the Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property Office (CAIPO) continues to experience technical difficulties, rendering some services inaccessible at this time. This includes emails, the cashier point, and the Intellectual Property Automated System (IPAS). Technicians are on-site and working to address the issue.
As a result of this outage, there will be an extension for the filing of 2021 Annual Returns, which were due by June 30, 2022. The new deadline will be announced later.
The digital corporate system for the registration of business names and incorporation of companies remains available and accessible. Persons can continue to use this platform as usual by visiting https://caipo.gov.bb.
Persons are also reminded that they can continue to utilise EZ Pay to pay for filings and submit proof of payment, along with copies of documents paid for, to caipo.general@barbados.gov.bb. The drop box also remains available for deposit of corporate documents being paid for by cheque.
CAIPO apologises for the inconvenience caused and assures the public that it is working diligently to address this issue. (CAIPO/BGIS)
