Nine people succumb to COVID-19

Nine people have died as a result of COVID-19.

Two men, aged 87 and 89, passed away from the virus today, Wednesday, September 7, while another seven people died within the community in the last two weeks, as reported by the Coroner’s Office.

The COVID-19 death toll has now reached 555. Minister of Health and Wellness, Ian Gooding-Edghill, has extended his
condolences to the families and friends of the deceased. (MR/BGIS)
