Pinnacle Feeds delays increase in feed prices

Pinnacle Feeds on Friday said it has delayed a plan to raise feed prices.

Yesterday, the Barbados Agricultural Society indicated that it had received notice from the company that it could no longer hold off increases until next January given increasing costs which have been severely affecting its bottom line.

But in a statement Pinnacle Feeds announced that it would explore other options.

“Pinnacle Feeds is currently reviewing all of our options concerning the rising costs of inputs to our product. During this review, we will not be raising prices. It will take some time to explore these different solutions, but we will have a definitive decision on this within a week, which we will share with our customers and the wider public.”
