Four Barbadian Trade Unionists elected to regional Congress

Four Barbadian Trade Unionists have been elected at the 21st Triennial Caribbean Congress of Labour Delegates Conference, held from November 24 to 26 in St. George’s, Grenada and hosted by the Grenada Trades’ Union Council.

These individuals who will serve the congress for the next three years are:

  • Dwayne Paul -1st VP (BWU)
  • Kimberly Agard 3rd VP (NUPW)
  • Rudy Lovell & Julian Pierre – Zone 3 representatives (BUT)

Additionally, the following persons were also elected to serve:

  • Andre Lewis – President (Grenada)
  • 2nd VP Tami Rae (Bermuda)
  • Michael Annisette – General Secretary (Trinidad and Tabago)
  • Assistant General Secretary – Shelly-Ann Alexander-Ross (St. Vincent)
  • Luis Martinez – Zone 1 Representative (Belize)
  • Kenny James – Zone 2 Representative (Grenada)
