Barbadians enjoy day of fun and relaxation

 

Boxing Day was one of fun and relaxation for many Barbadians, a wind-down from the hectic Christmas celebrations.

Scores of locals and tourists hit the island’s popular beaches, Miami, Brandons and Browne’s beach.

Over at Enterprise Beach in Christ Church, some took advantage of windy conditions and engaged in kite surfing.

 

Several families and friends opted for popular picnic spots to spend time together. At the National Botanical Gardens, patrons had quite a picnic spread and while some opted to relax and chat,  the young were busy kite flying or playing games.

Another major drawing card today was horse racing at the Garrison Savannah.
