King ‘Green’ House wins Wilkie Cumberbatch junior sports

Aniya Christina-Ince of Green House was unstoppable as she crossed the finishline first in the Under-11 Girls 300m race.

King ‘Green’ House scoring 457 points have once again put themselves in a position to repeat as champions of Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary School inter-house sports held today at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

Based on the final point standings at the end of junior sports this afternoon, the defending champions (King House) are comfortably ahead of Hurley ‘Yellow’ House on 372 points in second position, while Payne ‘Red’ House in third are gradually closing on 354 points and Williams ‘Blue’ House are in fourth place on 336 points.

While the overall champion will not be known until the Infants have their sports day next week, it is looking like King House – with a lead of 85 points – will rule as champions for yet another year once all goes well. (ML)
