Final 11-plus town hall meetings this week

The town hall meetings for the Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination (BSSEE) 2023 will conclude this week.

On Tuesday, January 17, The team from the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training (METVT) will host the sessions at Combermere School, Waterford, St. Michael, and A. DaCosta Edwards Primary School, Belleplaine, St. Andrew.

Following these meetings, the final sessions will be held on Thursday, January 19, at the Deighton Griffith School, Kingsland, Christ Church, and The St Michael School at Martindales Road, St Michael. All meetings begin at 5 pm.

Education officers will be on hand to give instructions on how to complete the online registration form for the choice of school, and provide guidance on the deferral and special requests forms, among other things.

Parents/guardians of students writing the May 2 examination and who have not yet attended the BSSEE meetings are encouraged to visit any of the venues.
