Gold wins at Vauxhall Primary

In a close battle at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex today, the Dragons of Gold House were the last standing as they took the coveted Vauxhall Hall Primary School Inter-House Sports crown, with 631 points.

The sun beat down on the Ryan Braithwaite track, where Purple House and Orange House were only separated by 14 points by the end of the day with Purple Panthers taking second place on 609 points and Orange Tigers finishing in third with 595 points.

Nevaeh Remise of Gold House unleashed fire for the dragons on all comers in the Under-nine Girls 150m.

Under-11 Girl, Amiyah Prescod was a queen for the day, with 30 points for Purple. She won the Under-11 Girls 100m in 15.46 seconds, the 200m in 32.38 seconds and finished the 300m in 52.72 seconds. She shared the top honours with Under-nine Girl Nevaeh Remise of Gold, who also tallied 30 points. In a time of 13.74 seconds, Remise won the Under-nine Girls 80m Dash and took gold in the 100m in 18.26 seconds and to close out her day, won the 150m in 27.68 seconds.

Amiyah Prescod of Purple House raced to victory in the Under-11 Girls 200m.

Not to be outdone, Nathan Phillips of Gold also was
at the top of the list, with 30 points, having won the Under-nine Boys 80m in a blazing 11.12 seconds. He also won gold in the 100m with a time of 15.05 seconds and the 150m in 21.43 seconds.
