Mystery winner $2 million richer with Mega 6

Barbados’ newest Mega 6 Winner, is over $2 million richer.

The lucky numbers which were drawn on December 23, 2022, earned the winner  $2,060,000.

During a brief handing over ceremony on Tuesday at Fair Deals, Ellerton, St. George, where the winning ticket was purchased, Zaria Weatherhead, a representative of the winner, told the media that the ticket holder was more than ecstatic to have won the big jackpot.

“The individual does not play the lottery. They were just fortunate enough on the occasion that they did, these were the winnings and they secured them,” she said. She revealed that the winner intends to use the money wisely, clearing debts, assisting family members and enjoying some personally.

“The winner is a quiet individual, family-oriented and I think what they do with the winnings will reflect such.”

For 2022, the Barbados Lottery paid out over $6 million to Mega 6 winners. (SB)
