During the African-themed event, which was attended by Minister of Tourism Ian Gooding-Edghill and Chairman of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) Renee Coppin, the workers were encouraged to continue to give of their best. Welcoming the beautifully dressed staff members and specially invited guests, Managing Director of Sandals Resorts Barbados Carl Beviere said “we are here tonight to honour those outstanding employees who have gone out of their way to make the job that much more enjoyable, and give exceptional service to our guests”. “Also, we have some nominees who may not be seen in the front line of our massive operation but their roles are crucial to the overall success of Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados,” he said.
