Police investigate ‘suspicious package’ discovered at LESC

Police are investigating reports about a suspicious package in a bathroom at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre on Two Mile Hill, St Michael.
As a result, they have set up a command centre in the vicinity of the Imart Building and all vehicular and pedestrian traffic from the JTC Ramsay (Bussa) Roundabout and the Howell Road junction with Two Mile Hill Road have been diverted.
Police have advised that this diversion will cause considerable disruption to traffic, and are asking motorists and road users to be compliant and avoid the area if possible.
(More details as they come to hand.)
