Court closure notice for today

The public is advised that there will be no sitting of the Criminal Division of the Supreme Court of Barbados, which comprises Criminal Courts 2, 3, 3A, 4, 4A, 5, and 5A, on Wednesday, April 5.

In addition, no hearings will be conducted at all Magistrates’ Courts island-wide and the Registrar’s Court of the Supreme Court of Barbados on that day. However, the offices of the respective Magistrates’ Courts and the other departments of the Registration Department will remain open.

The closures facilitate the attendance of the Judiciary, Magistracy and the Registrar at a Symposium on the Criminal Justice System in Barbados, which will take place at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

The Registration Department regrets and apologises for any inconvenience caused. (BGIS)
