Chase murder trial continues

The trial of murder accused Dwayne Omar Chase continued before the High Court on Thursday with three more witnesses giving evidence.

Chase, of Valarie, Brittons Hill, St Michael, is accused of the shooting death of Kadeem Joseph on June 10, 2016. 

He has pleaded not guilty to the charge and is now facing Justice Randall Worrell and a 12-member jury in the No. 2 Supreme Court.

Acting Director of Public Prosecutions Alliston Seale, State Counsel Paul Prescod and State Counsel Anastasia McMeo are representing the state in the case.

Chase has attorney-at-law Safiya Moore as his defence lawyer.
