BMS issues flash-flood watch for Barbados

A flash-flood watch is in effect for Barbados.

The Barbados Meteorological Services said  The Intertropical Convergence Zone is currently generating moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms within the area, and as a result, rainfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible during the afternoon.

This alert message will be updated by 6 p.m. or sooner if conditions warrant.
