Man shot while riding his bicycle in St Michael

A 22-year-old man is in serious condition after being shot Saturday night.

Shortly before 9 pm police received a report that a man was shot above his right eye while riding his bicycle along 1st Avenue, Taylor’s Gap, Hindsbury Road, St Michael.

Police said when they arrived at the scene they learned that the victim had already been transported to hospital by a private vehicle.

Medical personnel listed him as serious and unstable at the time, police said.

Investigations are continuing.
