Temporary teachers get outstanding pay

BUT president Rudy Lovell.

All the temporary public school teachers whose salaries were overdue have been paid.

This confirmation came on Thursday from the president of the Barbados Union of Teachers Rudy Lovell.

He told Barbados TODAY that based on reports he had received, they had all received their money.

On Monday, the Ministry of Education promised that the temporary staff would be paid by the end of the business day on Tuesday. However, some teachers did not get their money up to Wednesday evening.
