Residents in Bush Hall Yard Gap, St Michael got the shock of their lives this morning when a section of the ground in that community collapsed, resulting in a large tamarind tree sinking into the ground.

Emergency and disaster officials, seen here inspecting the hole, were quickly dispatched to the area.
