All BCA Saturday matches cancelled

Earlier today, the Barbados Meteorological Service (BMS) issued a Thunderstorm warning for
the island of Barbados.

As a result, play in all Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) scheduled matches on Saturday have been
cancelled. For clarity, play for the entire day has been lost and will not be replayed.

This BMS warning indicates that severe lightning activity associated with widely scattered thunderstorms affecting or have been forecast to affect the island within the next 48 hours.

Individuals have been encouraged to stay indoors. (PR)
