St Matthias Magistrates’ Court Complex closed for two weeks

The public is advised that the St Matthias Magistrates’ Court Complex, which includes the District ‘A’ Civil Court and the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court, will be closed to all business for two weeks due to adverse environmental issues that have affected operations. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate industrial cleaning and maintenance of the facility.

All hearings scheduled during this time will be rescheduled. Following the completion of this exercise, all individuals who would have had cases set for hearing are asked to return to the St Matthias Court Complex on Monday, November 13, at 9 a.m., when they will be given a subsequent date for the hearing of their matter.

In addition, all payments that are due at the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court and the Civil and Maintenance sections of the District ‘A’ Civil Court during this period must now be made at the Cashier Section, Accounts Department, First Floor, Registration Department, Supreme Court Complex, Whitepark Road, St Michael.

The Registration Department regrets and apologises for any inconvenience this extended closure may cause. (PR)
