Akmal Teril Haynes of Spruce Street and Alana Nikita Crystal Nearvay of Ashby Alley, Nelson Street were found not guilty by a nine-member jury in Supreme Court No. 3 of possession of the gun while at the funeral of a former cadet on April 20, 2015. The jury voted eight to one. Justice Carlisle Greaves presided over the matter.
