Nicholls murder accused remanded

The two St Michael men charged with the murder of Mitchell Nicholls have been remanded to Dodds.
Victor Martin Hoyte, 20 of Exchange Hill and Devere Elon Tony Gittens, 26 of 2nd Avenue, Bibby’s Lane, appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with killing Nicholls between December 23 and 29, 2023 and the arson of a car belonging to Nicholls Bakery on December 24.
They were not required to plead to the indictable offences.
The two will return to the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on the murder charge on February 7 and appear in the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court on January 17 in relation to the arson charge. (JB)
