Update: St. Bartholomew Primary School closed

St .Bartholomew Primary in Parish Land, Christ Church is now closed.

Classes were disrupted today as the incinerator from the Grantley Adams International Airport emitted acrid smoke.

Teachers, students and ancillary staff have been affected by the smoke coming from the incinerator.

Parents and guardians were instructed to collect their wards earlier today when the plumes of smoke affected the school.
